Alot of you may know or recognize Megan, she grew up here in Chino Hills and went to Ayala high school. but for those of you who don't this is Megan her husband Fed and their twins Kailer (on mommy's lap) and Kaidence (on daddy's lap) Currently the twins are 20 months old. Megan is 30 weeks pregnant with a little girl name Isla.
This past week has been a whirlwind of events for Meg that I cant even begin to explain, but at some point she has been diagnosed with lymphoma, they are still waiting on results as to the kind or stage but doctors are thinking its Hodgkin's which is the better or the two lymphoma's Im told. I heard (4th hand and we all know how that game goes) they think its stage 4 at this point because it has metastasize to her lung making it hard for her to catch her breath.
Yesterday drs took her in for surgery to drain fluid from around her heart and place a drain so they wont have to keep going in when fluid builds up. because they had her under anesthesia already (they were trying to avoid it at first because she is pregnant but both baby and mom did Wonderful) they took a piece of her hip bone & marrow to test as well as a full lymph nod from her neck to test. They wont get these results back till probably mid to late next week. When I went down to the hospital last night Megan was in ICU (so we didn't get to see her) and will probably be there for a few more days and then transferred to the cancer unit where at this point they are hoping to start Chemo next Tuesday. Megan is going to be staying in the hospital till after Isla is born which they are praying is at least 6 more weeks. After Isla is born she will begin out patient treatment.
they all know and are trusting God through this, so lets join them in praying!!!

This is so tragic. I will be praying for her and her family EVERY single day. Please let me know if I can help in any way. Meals, baby sitting, cleaning, ect. I know that I don't know her, but as a mother and wife I cannot imagine going through this. God bless her and her family ;)
I just showed Tommy and he totally knows her. He said they had classes together. We are so sad ;(
Jess, You're friend will be in our prayers. What a very sad thing to have happen to a young person. I will pray for a miracle and that that cancer will go away. I will pray that she becomes strong enough to fight this cancer and to have and raise her children until they have kids! My thought and prayers are with you all.
