Denise was ever so kind to come out and take some "army" pictures of my boy for me, to include in his birthday invite.... she took over 600 pictures so it was so hard to narrow down for the actual pictures to be used.... anyways here are some more... I still cant believe my baby is turning one.

Catch up time

Boy have I neglected this blog! I have obviously been home from Oregon for a few weeks, and haven't once logged in here to update..... the past two weeks I have been in serious lazy mode.... not wanting to do ANYTHING! Its not like Oregon was so crazy that I came home so tired.... I mean it was alot of time at the park, and being a single mom of a 10 month old sucks! and missing Bill & Bradyn really sucked!
btw my girls did ok?! they placed in the 20's somewhere out of 50 teams, we should have and could have easily placed higher but our girls were tired and just didn't play well at all the last game! I was ok with us going out, because lindsey and I got in the car and drove up to Seattle to visit the Haddocks. it was a great day and a half (Thanks Bambee!!!) I think getting home and knowing my responsibilities as a coach and all my nights at the park are done put me into "summer lazy" mode I dunno.... but now its crunch time!
I have a ton to get done this next week, Titus Big Party is coming up on Sunday, which Im happy to report I have finally gotten around to begin planning for this :) I really hope its great! alot of you have asked why were having his party so early, and the answer to this, almost every year since I was like 13ish?! I have gone on vacation with my second family (the toroks) to Lake Powell... since Bill and I have been together we have gone together its probably our favorite time of the year.... Lake Powell is amazing and family time is always needed, and well, rest, and play, always fun! so we will be out on the Lake on his actual birthday.. He will probably for the rest of his life spend his actual birthday out on the lake. so hopefully he loves the lake as much as we do! obviously last year we didn't get to go as we were a little busy having a baby, so this will be his first trip out there.

when it comes to the party, Im one of those crazy moms who always take on way to much and go overboard. even if the kids are to young to remember.. those of you that came to Bradyns 1st birthday party may remember..... and now that its Titus turn I have to do the same for him as I did Bradyn LOL I know I know they wont know... but I still have to do this! Im just praying you all will show up and have an awesome time! I know Titus will, he has fun in whatever he is doing these days....
Titus has just started to come out of his shell. it has taken awhile. we are starting to see who Titus is going to be... he loves to laugh and just have a good time... he hates to be picked on and will scream louder then you think if your doing something to him he feels you shouldn't be. He is a mama's boy :) but very obedient.... well a heck of alot more then Bradyn was at this age HAHA. Titus still is toothless, someday the kid will grow a few teeth. it doesn't seem to slow him down he can eat just about anything you put in front of him. :) I still cant believe he is going to be one years old in less than amonth. (9-11)
I promise Im going to work hard at keeping us up to date here in blog land. but there is no way Im going to be able and go back the past two weeks so lets pretend well that Im not behind or that those two weeks don't exist :)

SupeR SweeT SaturdaY!

Well it is Saturday and it is going to be Bradyn and I first full day of fun. We woke up at my parent's house and we promptly set up the basketball court in the front driveway. Well of course we lowered the rim because we wanted to act like NBA All-Stars. Bradyn ran around and threw the ball with all his might. With a little help he got up there and scored a shot! So 12p.m. rolls around and its hotter then desert springs. We had planned to hit the beach, just Bradyn and I. We get down to Brookhurst and PCH, parked the Sequoia and hooked up the trailer to my MTN. bike. off we went to Huntington Beach pier. BOY was the boardwalk crazy busy. There were so many people wandering around not paying attention to the bikes passing by, causing me to slow down repeatedly as I ranted off "get outta the way" or "not a good place to stand, you know". I just kept pushing and pushing and zig zagging around as Bradyn was in the back checking things out while saying "whooaahh ..weeeeee....whoooaahh. Faster daddy!" We ended up by the pier and locked up the bike and trailer and headed to shore. Bradyn immediatly headed for the wet sand and started to make some castles.
After hanging out at huntington we got back on the bike, dodged more tourists, checked out the dog beach and then went all the way back to newport pier to have some late lunch.
On the pier we checked out bat rays and some other weird fish that the locals had caught off the pier. After riding around for a good 6 hours we finally packed it up around 8 p.m. and went to Z pizza in Chino Hills. It was a great day of fun in the sun with Bradyn and I and can't wait for all of the family to go back again! -B

Family Friday

Well finally its Friday and I picked up Bradyn from the house and took him swimming at the local pool. Poor papa thought he was going to have Bradyn for the rest of day (but he was at doctors so his loss!) We swam for like 2 hours and just horsed around. Bradyn is getting so brave and jumping in the deep end with his floaties on. We found floaties at Big 5 sporting goods after searching everywhere for them most of the week. $2.50! Well then we carted off to my brother's work at Kragen in Westminister and got to eat KFC in the back as my brother was shutting down the store at 9 p.m. Bradyn got to run around the closed store and check out the cool toys that they had there. He wanted to buy all of them of course, but I told him that the cash register was shut down; for reals! We then ended up at my Parent's house in Westminister. After a few hugs and drinks of juice and water, we set up the bed in the adjoining room from Keith's. We then played playstation 3 - NBA basketball 2008 - until 1:30 a.m. Bradyn was hyper all night and jumped all over Keith and his bed until he crashed hard at 12:30 a.m. Bradyn and I jumped into the bed and then I realize - THUD. The bed was hard as a rock, no joke. Boy was that uncomfortable. Only at my parents. We woke up in the morning and did some basketball dunks before heading off to the beach

Circus Wednesday

After picking up Bradyn from Amanda and Brendon's apt., I had to decide what great adventure would be snuff enough to make me superdaddy? Kung Fu Panda: Last showing was at 4 p.m. couldn't make it in time Wall-E: Was told it was not enough dialog the first hour - not kid friendly? Circus: Ringling Bros. and Barnum Baily's at the Honda Center Well the circus we chose and boy was bradyn excited! We pull up in the parking lot and guess what Bradyn decided to do? Throw up (cause he gagged himself with the straw) all over his shirt. It smelled bad too! I cleaned him up and didn't have an extra shirt so off we went (way to go superdaddy). We got ourselves 19 bux seats that were okay on the second tier level. I didn't have any cash on me, so Bradyn didn't get to buy all those cool toys that they had on display. Poor him. We did get some drinks and peanuts and found our seats. I then notice that Bradyn had a nice stench on him thanks to his throw up and thank god he had an end seat! I did keep looking around at everyone else to see if they notice his odor. I was prepared to blame it on the elephants. Well least to say Bradyn had a great time watching the horses, clowns, elephants, tigers, 7 motorcycles in the dome and funny music/sounds. The show started at 7:30 and didn't end until 10 p.m. We went home looking for pizza but with no luck we ended up with Mcdonalds. I think I survived superdaddy for one day. PHEW! - B

Tuesday Tremblor....

Well today was interesting....earthquake day.

Jessikah decided to leave her cellphone in the hotel room up in Oregon. Fast forward to earthquake time 11:46 a.m. EPICENTER CHINO HILLS

Bradyn, Ruth and Allison were at the house when it hit and they survived just fine. I was at work and called Allison and she stated Bradyn was saying "the house shaking! I fall on my butt!"

So I then called Jessikah to tell her the news. No answer after 3 attempts. Well on the flip side, Jess decided to make a phone call (using Lindsey's phone) down south to check in while she was at the softball field with the team and other parents. Well she could not get through (due to high call volume) and she notice that other parents were having the same problem. Jess soon found out that the rumor was an earthquake hit Chino Hills. Here she is 850 miles away and she can't find out what has happened!

Few minutes go by and she finally got through and she was updated with the good news.

Lesson learned - when away from your kids....don't leave your cell phone!

Monday without mommy and Titus

Amanda and Brendon were going to carmax (as they were there during the day with Bradyn) to bring some paperwork and Bradyn was out.

So he was transferred from the car to his bed and he slept until 8 p.m.!

Well I finally woke him up so we could get some dinner. We ended going over to Mimi's cafe to say hi to Laura Gonzales. Laura was talking about how she was going to graduate from her LVN in a few weeks and how excited she was.

Bradyn had the wannabe pizza, in which he didn't like at all (and Jess had warned me about this before too) and so he ate some fries and picked at my chicken salad. We also shared some french onion soup....mmmmmMMMMmmmm.

The night was young (since Bradyn had such a long night) so we ended up at our favorite local hangout, WalMart. We walked around looked at everything and ended up with a few items to wash the Seqouia as we had ran out of soap and other goodies at the fundraiser carwash.

In the end we go home and I ended up cleaning the kitchen cause it stank and doing a few other things and did not go to sleep until 12:30 a.m. Remember I woke up at 3:45 a.m. that morning to take Jess to the airport! Boy was I tired....

We got the sickies

Last night my mom called me home from Practice a little early, because Bradyn was running a pretty good little fever. which came out of no where.... well by the time I was home I had three sick boys all with fevers and chills.... it always sucks having sick kids (and husband) but timing this weekend couldn't be worse! were heading out in a bit, and will just transfer our germs to the hotel room. Pray it goes away as fast as it came, and I don't catch ANY of it!!! Thanks guys

Crazy Parents

The day has come we leave for San Diego, for a fun exciting weekend at the softball field fighting for the state championship title. (haha hope you can sense the sarcasm.) it sucks because I have really enjoyed coaching this year but there are a few girls and their parents that make me want to NEVER do this again! My mom was always involved with our sports as kids, but never screamed at us from the stands to do things different then the coach has told us, or yelled at our coach's. The only time I remember hearing my mom yell at me was when I was pitching and I guess because she caught me at all my lessons, she felt she needed to correct me?! even then she didn't get all crazy. so I don't understand these parents. All three of us Dean Lindsey and I have no one on this team, were out here for them. we have all sacrificed a lot of time and effort. not to mention family time and parties, to be on the field, yet they think we know nothing and that their daughters are above our practices?! seriously don't get it! no one is ever too good they don't need to practice. even the professionals have to practice for hours EVERY day... as much as I would love for this team to kick butt this weekend (its state) I don't want to continue having practice and gearing up for Nationals..... I'm just done, yet I cant quit it isn't fair to the rest of the team..... well Wish us luck

Keep on moving up

That's right my girls took first place in the Chino milkcan tournament this weekend! They did AWESOME! I was so proud of the way they played this weekend! it was a great way to head into state this next weekend!!! Now if I could only find a place or use for this MASSIVE trophy.
We leave Thursday night for San Diego and play Friday, Saturday and Sunday... battling the top 28ish teams from all over California. we arnt sure how many teams will get to go on to nationals (which is in Oregon in three weeks) but its somewhere between the top 8-10 teams. I will keep you posted!

Happy Fourth of July

We had a blast today, spent the day at the Toroks house. which just happens to be Bradyns favorite place to be. between jumping (the trampoline) the horses, all the other animals, swimming and of course Mona. he never wants to leave there. both the boys really enjoyed watching the fireworks, which was so cute to watch. I hope all of you had a fun & safe 4th too.

Happy Birthday Miss Londyn Ella

Im just so not sure how its possible my little lou lou is already 1.... time flys!! she is just the most beautiful perfect little girl I have ever laid eyes on... I know Im a bit bias but what can I say I love love love my Londyn Ella!!!!! Happy Birthday little one!!!
